Document Sciences, a holding of Xerox Corporation
Worked with parent company, Xerox, to review and analyze technologies internally developed. Selected appropriate technologies with various uses and end-users that currently had no added value for parent company. Created stand-alone Document Sciences Corporation to house and nourish these technologies. Reengineered existing technologies to focus on particular consumer needs and to maximize potential client base. Launched company with a wide variety of software offerings to existing Xerox client base and to new consumers and demographics. Developed manufacturing and programming base for software and additional products in India. Executed marketing launch to analysts and industry experts to position Document Sciences with its own brand and equity, separate from parent Xerox Corporation. Created user interface, packaging, brand identity, point-of-sale materials, marketing campaign, and media campaign for national launch and ongoing product support and development.
